Processing pages...
Before you split
- Digital signatures cannot survive copying: signed pages lose their signature in every output file.
- Interactive form fields and password-protected documents are not supported.
- Bookmarks, tags, attachments, and other advanced PDF features may not be preserved when pages are copied.
- Your original file is never modified or deleted.
- This tool reorganizes your document — it does not scan, remove scripts, or sanitize content.

Every output is verified — page count, size, and rotation — before downloads appear.
Designed for dependable page splitting
Two ways to split
Extract selected pages into one new PDF, or split every selected page into its own single-page PDF — downloadable individually or together as a ZIP archive.
Verified output, not blind trust
Every generated file is re-opened and checked before it becomes downloadable: page count, dimensions, and rotation must match the source pages exactly.
Private by design
Parsing, page copying, and archiving happen entirely inside your browser tab. Your document is never uploaded to any server.
Frequently asked questions
How do I split a PDF into separate files?
Drop a PDF into the upload area, choose the pages you want using the page range field or thumbnail cards, switch the output mode to 'Split into individual page PDFs', and click 'Split into individual PDFs'. Each selected page is produced as its own verified PDF, and you can download them one by one or all together as a ZIP archive.
What is the difference between extract and split?
'Extract pages into one PDF' copies your selected pages, in order, into a single new PDF file — useful for pulling a chapter or a set of reports out of a larger document. 'Split into individual page PDFs' creates one separate PDF per selected page — useful for distributing single pages or invoices.
How do page selection and custom ranges work?
You can click 'All pages', toggle individual thumbnail checkboxes, or enter custom ranges such as '1-3, 5, 8'. Overlapping ranges are deduplicated and resolved in ascending document order. Out-of-range or malformed ranges are rejected with a clear message — your selection is never silently truncated.
What are the limits?
Input documents can be up to 30 MB. Extract mode accepts up to 100 pages per run (one output PDF). Individual mode accepts up to 40 pages per run (40 output PDFs). Combined generated output is capped at 100 MB. Limits are enforced with visible explanations — nothing is silently dropped.
Will digital signatures, forms, or bookmarks survive splitting?
No. Copying pages into new documents invalidates digital signatures, and interactive form fields are rejected because they cannot be preserved reliably. Bookmarks, tags, and attachments may not carry over. The original file is never modified.
Are password-protected PDFs supported?
No. Password-protected and encrypted PDF documents are not supported. Please remove the password protection before splitting the document.
Are my PDF files uploaded to any server or cloud service?
No. Every step — parsing, page copying, verification, and the ZIP download — happens inside this browser tab. Your files are never sent to any server.
