Your files are processed inside your browser tab. FileMizo has no backend that receives them. This page explains exactly what happens when you use the site — and what still happens when any website loads.

Your files stay on your device

When you choose a file, the page reads it with the browser's local file APIs. Decoding, drawing, encoding, PDF parsing, and ZIP creation all run in this tab. File contents are never sent to FileMizo or any other server — there is no upload step in any tool.

  • Your original file is never modified or replaced.
  • Previews and downloads use temporary object URLs created in the tab and revoked when a result is cleared or you leave the page.
  • Reloading or closing the tab clears the workspace. Nothing about your files is written to cookies, local storage, or a database, because the site uses none of them and has no database.

Ordinary requests to the website host

Local file processing is separate from how any website loads. Opening a page still makes ordinary HTTP requests to the host that serves this site — the HTML, CSS, JavaScript, worker files, and favicon needed to display the page. Those requests contain the page address and standard browser headers; they do not contain your files.

Like any website, the hosting provider may record standard server-side request information (such as IP address, time, and requested path) for operating the server. FileMizo itself has no application server, no account system, and no code that stores request data.

No accounts, cookies, or tracking

  • No accounts, logins, or email collection.
  • No cookies and no local-storage or session-storage tracking.
  • No analytics, advertising, tag managers, or third-party scripts.
  • No external fonts or images: pages use the system font stack and same-origin assets only.
  • All processing scripts, workers, and PDF engine files are served from this site — nothing is loaded from a third-party CDN.

What FileMizo does not do

  • It does not upload, backup, or retain your files.
  • It does not inspect, sell, or analyse file contents or metadata.
  • It does not use your files for any purpose after you leave the page.

Changes to this page

If the site's behaviour ever changes — for example, if a future feature needs to store something — this page will be updated to describe it before that behaviour ships. Questions about privacy can be sent through the Contact page.
